Ukraine rejects Russia’s proposal for humanitarian corridors
Earlier on Monday, Ukraine rejected Moscow’s proposal for humanitarian corridors to Russia and Belarus. “This is not an acceptable option,” Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk said after Russia proposed a route for civilians from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mariupol and Sumy.

Let us tell you that Russia announced the opening of humanitarian corridors in many areas with a ceasefire from Monday morning for the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens. According to a statement issued by a Russian task force, the ceasefire has been announced for the evacuation of civilians from the capital Kyiv, the southern port city of Mariupol, Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv and Sumy.

The fierce battle continues for 12 days
Today is the 12th day of the war between Russia and Ukraine. The United Nations has said that more than 1.5 million people have left Ukraine so far. The UN has called it Europe’s fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II.

Hundreds of civilians have been killed and thousands injured in the fighting, with hundreds of thousands of people – mostly women and children – seeking refuge in neighboring countries such as Poland, Romania or Moldova.
