Viettel broadcasts 5G network in Lao Cai

With the mission of being a leading pioneer in creating a digital society, Viettel has been determined to build 5G network infrastructure in localities. In 2021, in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic raging nationwide, Viettel has made efforts to complete coverage in 16 provinces/cities.

In Lao Cai, with the special attention, support and assistance of the provincial leaders, Viettel was licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications to test 5G telecommunications networks and services in the province. After a period of active and urgent investment, deployment of network infrastructure and guaranteed conditions, from 00:00 on April 30, 2022, Viettel’s 5G network was officially broadcast in the central area of ​​​​the market.
