Foreign Minister Mike Pompeii and Defense Minister Mark will hold a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh during the US-India’s ‘Two Plus Two’ ministerial level talks. The American leader will also meet the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi and discuss with other government and business leaders on ways to take forward the US-India comprehensive global strategic partnership.
The State Department says that the two countries have strong and growing bilateral relations built on shared values and a commitment to an independent and open Indo-Pacific. As the oldest and largest democratic countries in the world, the United States and India have enjoyed deep democratic traditions.
