US MP extends India’s help, urges Biden administration to release vaccine consignment

Washington On Monday, an influential US lawmaker requested the Biden administration to immediately send a consignment of AstraZeneca’s Kovid-19 vaccine to India. MP Tom Malinowski also appealed to the government to activate all possible resources of the US, including the Department of Defense, to send ventilators to India along with oxygen production and storage equipment.

Extend a helping hand towards India

The MP said, “I called for the immediate availability of the approved AstraZeneca vaccine from the WHO available to the US (which the US will not use) to India and other countries.” India is grappling with the second wave of corona virus infection and more than three lakh new cases are coming here every day for the last few days. There is a shortage of medical oxygen, beds in hospitals.

More than 150 million infected worldwide

Let us know that more than 150 million people have been infected by Corona virus infection worldwide. Till date, the number of people infected with corona worldwide has crossed 15 million 40 lakhs. Out of which 32 lakh infected people have lost their lives. At the same time, America ranked first in the list of the countries most affected by corona, where so far more than 32 million corona infected have come out.

Figure exceeded 2 crores in India

At the same time, India ranks second in the list of corona virus infected countries. Where cases of corona infection have crossed the 2 crore mark. The total number of infected in India has now crossed two crore two lakh 37 thousand. At the same time, more than two lakh 21 thousand corona infected have also died across the country. At present, more than one crore 65 lakh 62 thousand people have been cured after treatment. At the same time, more than 34 lakh 53 thousand corona active people are being treated.
