Nghe AnNghe An health sector at noon 4/7 urgently announced to find someone who had taken a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh City at noon on July 1.
Specifically, flight VN 1264 departed at 12:30 am on July 1 from Tan Son Nhat airport to Vinh airport at 13:30. According to the authorities, this is a flight related to Covid-19 patients.
The health agency also found the driver of a taxi carrying 3 passengers departing at 13:30 from Vinh yard to hamlet 12, Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An).
Authorities recommend that those who are involved with the above information contact health authorities for instructions. The steering committees for Covid-19 prevention and control in districts, cities and towns must urgently review and trace the people involved in order to organize classification, supervision and health monitoring.
On the morning of July 4, Nghe An CDC announced 2 more suspected cases of F1s who have been isolated. The first case is male, 59 years old, residing in Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district. The second case is a male, 67 years old, residing in Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district.
Nghe An recorded 121 infections and suspected infections in the epidemic since June 13. The most is Vinh city with 81 cases, Dien Chau district 17.
Regarding epidemic prevention, flights from Vinh to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa will be suspended from 0:00 on July 2, according to the direction of the Ministry of Transport.
A representative of the Ministry of Transport said that on June 30, the People’s Committee of Nghe An province asked the ministry to stop flights to Vinh airport to serve epidemic prevention work. However, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam proposed to maintain other routes to Vinh airport, only temporarily suspending the route Vinh – Ho Chi Minh City.
