It will be necessary to wait until December 16 to know the representativeness of each of the unions in all the public functions of the federations of civil servants, but the day after the closing of the elections which will have concerned some 5.6 million agents, both permanent and contractual, the Ministry of Transformation and the Public Service has given the first provisional results concerning State personnel.

They report a record abstention rate, at 55%, or 5 points more than in the previous election, in 2018. But without this having impacted the inter-union balance of power.

Force Ouvrière indeed consolidates its first place, with an audience of 18.6%, ahead of the FSU, at 18% and the UNSA, at 17.2%. Then come the CFDT and the CGT, with a score of 12.4% and 11.1% respectively. At 7.3%, the CFE-CGC comes in fifth place ahead of Solidaires, at 6.4%. Note that these results do not take into account private education, where the CFDT is particularly strong.
