Ukraine has rejected Russia’s claim that President Volodymyr Zelensky has fled to Poland. Ukraine’s parliament said that President Zelensky has not fled, he is in the capital Kyiv. Ukraine is repeatedly claiming that Russia is trying to kill Zelensky. A rocket fragment was also found near the presidential residence of Ukraine. Taking a jibe at this, Zelensky said that the target was missed. Earlier also in a report, it was told that Zelensky was tried to be killed three times. But every time he somehow survived.
Earlier it was claimed by Russian media house Sputnik that Zelensky had taken refuge in Poland. But Ukraine has rejected this.
At the same time, Russian forces have intensified attacks in the Ukrainian city of Enerhodar, and in the same sequence, fire broke out after shelling on Europe’s largest nuclear power plant. After the fire in the plant, there is a danger of spreading radiation from there.
Plant spokesman Andrey Tuz told Ukrainian television that the shells were falling directly on the nuclear plant and caused a fire in one of the six reactors. Although repair work was going on in this reactor and it was closed, but nuclear fuel is present inside it.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dimitro Kuleba tweeted that the fire brigade was unable to reach there because they were being shot. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says that there has been no change in the radiation level at the nuclear power plant. The IAEA gave this information on Friday by quoting Ukraine’s nuclear energy regulator.
The IAEA said on Twitter that its Director-General Mariano Grossi is in constant contact with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Schmigel and the Ukrainian nuclear energy regulator and operator about the current situation at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. The Director General of the IAEA urged both sides to cease shelling, saying there could be dire consequences if a nuclear power plant was targeted.
