Transfer of police patient with ECMO machine to Cho Ray

Isolation area for patient treatment. “Patient 8944”, previously on duty at Tan Phu District Hospital for 4 days from May 28 to May 31. He was sampled on June 1, the test results were negative for nCoV.

From June 2, he was tired and had a high fever. On June 5, he was very tired, had difficulty breathing, the next day he went to the hospital for examination and tested positive for nCoV. The accompanying wife was also sampled and tested positive, which was recorded by the Ministry of Health as “patient 8945”.

A medical worker at Tan Phu District Hospital, in the same Tan Quy ward as this police officer, also contracted Covid-19, announced by the Ministry of Health, on the same afternoon of June 7, as case 8960. This person was isolated for the day. May 29 due to examination for “patient 6904” (related to the Renaissance mission group) at Viet Phuoc Clinic.

Tan Phu District Hospital is temporarily closed from May 28 to May 31, after detecting 3 cases of Covid-19 related to the missionary outbreak. On June 1, the hospital blocked off due to detecting two employees with Covid-19.
