There was a fruitful discussion on bilateral relations between the two leaders. Announcement was also made. Apart from this, the two leaders also reiterated their commitment to work expeditiously towards the India-EU Free Trade Treaty.

He said that the progress of India-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership was also reviewed between the PMs of the two countries. During this, topics like renewable energy, especially wind power and green hydrogen in the offshore sector, as well as cooperation in the areas of skill development, health, shipping, water and arctic etc. were also discussed. After the conversation, Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen took Narendra Modi to his official residence and showed him the painting that Modi had given to him on his last visit to India.

Today, PM Narendra Modi will participate in the second India-Nordic summit with the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Norway, apart from bilateral talks in Denmark. Here he will review cooperation since the first India-Nordic summit in 2018. In this conference, the focus will be on topics such as recovery of the economy after Corona, climate change, innovation and technology, renewable energy, emerging global security scenario and India-Nordic cooperation in the Arctic region.
