Thirteen people close to the case in Vinh Long were nCoV negative

On the morning of December 27, the Ministry of Health announced 13 close contacts (F1) “1440 patients” that tested negative for the first time, continuing to follow up with isolation.

The health sector of Vinh Long province cooperates with the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City and related units to continue tracing, investigating and verifying F1 and F2 exposure cases of patients, taking samples for testing and isolation.

“1440 Patient”, 32 years old, was announced by the Ministry of Health on the evening of December 26. This person from Myanmar illegally entered through the open path at 2:00 am on December 24 and went home in Vinh Long. Immediately after returning to the family, family members informed the local police to conduct isolation and take samples for testing.

Vietnam has not recorded new cases in the community for 25 days, since December 2, the last case in the chain of community infections in HCMC. However, the risk of infiltration is always permanent, especially when increasing the number of flights to bring Vietnamese citizens and water experts. Authorities always warn about the risk of epidemic intrusion from people entering illegally.

The Ministry of Health recommends that people continue to well implement the “5K Message”, especially wearing a mask and washing their hands with soap and antiseptic solution.

The world records more than 1.7 million deaths from COV in more than 80 million infected people. The US is the country most severely affected by the epidemic, followed by India and Brazil.
