The notorious hacker group has just returned with the announcement of the launch of the Anon Inu cryptocurrency, used to compete with Elon Musk and the Chinese government.
According to the CryptoSlate, Anon Inu is based on the BSC (Binance Smart Chain) platform, created by Anonymous with the aim of “against China and Elon Musk”.
“We believe that cryptocurrency is just getting started, so we should issue Anon Inu token. This is a decentralized community token (DeFi) with many utilities available. In addition to confronting Elon Musk in the war meme, this token will also fight China in the crypto war,” said a representative of the notorious hacker group.

Anon Inu’s website states that the coin was created to support animal shelters. Anon Inu’s roadmap mainly focuses on introducing influencers, timing on CoinMarketCap, giving away free NFTs and doing charity. The total supply of Anon Inu is 1 million billion.
With the above statement, Anonymous expressed its desire to regain popularity after a period of hiding. A decentralized financial project run by anonymous individuals like Anonymous may not appeal to investors because of concerns about transparency, legitimacy, and ambiguous development roadmaps.
In a video shared on YouTube on July 16, Anonymous said that the Chinese government’s control surprised and greatly affected the Bitcoin market. However, this is essentially a deliberate move by China to limit the competitiveness of Bitcoin with the country’s soon-to-be-widespread digital yuan.
Before being controlled by the Chinese government, most of the Bitcoin mining system was located in the country of billions of people due to favorable climate conditions and cheap electricity prices. After China’s tough action, many miners sold Bitcoin to get money out of the country. This move resulted in a sell-off, causing the Bitcoin price to plummet.
In the video, Anonymous also said that the Anon Inu cryptocurrency will start a “meme war”, referring to Dogecoin and the price fluctuations thanks to billionaire Elon Musk.
Operating since 2003, Anonymous is considered the largest and most famous hacker group. Get the Guy Fawkes mask icon in the style depicted in the novels and movies V for Vendetta, Anonymous has carried out many attacks on the computer systems of multinational corporations such as PayPal, Mastercard, Visa and some major cities.
Anonymous reached its peak of popularity in the late 2000s. In 2011, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) broke into the group and arrested a key member nicknamed LulzSec.
Since then, the scale and frequency of Anonymous’s attacks have plummeted, leading many to believe that this hacker group has died out. However, Anonymous is still active on Twitter from time to time.
