To be widely deployed to the people, it is necessary to have faith and have the right awareness of the role of technology. While new tools and technology platforms have been introduced in a short time and have not reached certain maturity, therefore, there is no complete confidence to apply.
“Some places are still hesitant, so this is a barrier that we have had to try to overcome in the last period, there have been certain successes in some localities and we will continue to try.”
After a period of overlapping anti-epidemic platforms and scattered data due to the use of resources from many businesses, the Technology Center has gradually consolidated and linked data to solve the above difficulty.
The National Center for Technology for Prevention of Covid is a testament to the close coordination between sectors at the central level; Covid-19 prevention technology teams demonstrate close cooperation at the local level. Thereby forming a unified technology network from central to local. “Technological platforms deployed to the entire population in the past time will be the foundation to contribute to promoting the development of the digital economy, the development of the digital society, and contributing to raising people’s awareness.”, Mr. Cong Anh said.
The deployment of technology solutions and platforms to support epidemic prevention and control in localities in recent years is also a new way of implementing digital transformation.
Le Ngoc Han, Director of Quang Ninh Department of Information and Communications, shared that in the prevention and control of epidemics, this province always considers technology as a vital solution in epidemic prevention even when the province is in a safe state.
Quang Ninh Department of Information and Communications always upholds the sense of responsibility in the fronts of information, propaganda, operation and creation of technology platforms for epidemic prevention. At the same time, make good use of this opportunity to convert numbers in the locality.

The unit you see us do better will emulate to do better. It is the never-ending cycle of competition. Much harder work and higher goals than we set for ourselves.”
The Minister also raised many questions that need answers for all areas of the industry’s activities.
“Students have to study online but there is no mobile signal, no Internet, no computer, and not enough money to pay telecommunications charges. The Prime Minister will launch the program “Waves and computers for children” both to learn online and to promote digital society. So, what will our industry do?”
“Covid is a push to push the whole society to move quickly to a digital environment, so the demand for capacity, especially the mobile communication network, will increase. So when will we be able to grant 4G and 5G frequencies to carriers?”
“The national Covid-19 prevention technology center has mobilized the efforts of thousands of people, has mobilized tens of thousands of virtual computers, all of which are voluntary contributions of businesses. But have these platforms shared, connected, shared data in all provinces? Why is it that in the digital age, local people still issue work permits manually?”
“We are talking a lot about e-commerce, the digital economy is the main driving force, but do we have any big enough domestic e-commerce floors? As a country with 60% of the population living in rural areas, do we have an e-commerce platform for farmers?
The minister said those questions and a series of other questions will trigger the emulation movement of the information and communication industry this year.
“I hope agencies, units and businesses in the industry continue to have many creative proposals, join hands, contribute to share and accompany the country to overcome the pandemic,” he said. Minister said.
