The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health requires the emergency gates of all hospitals to be open 24/7. “Hospitals are not required to require patients to present positive or negative nCoV test results to receive them,” the official letter stated.

Hospitals partially converted to function under the model of split hospitals must have emergency rooms for Covid-19 screening. Patients who come for examination, if confirmed to have Covid-19, are transferred to the hospital’s isolation ward; If they do not have Covid-19, they will be transferred to the treatment ward for ordinary patients.
