The girl coming from France infected with CoV


The Ministry of Health on the afternoon of January 7, recorded a positive case that a person entered was isolated in Binh Duong. Total infections increased to 1,505.

“Patient 1505”, female, 26 years old, in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province. On December 16, she from France entered Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN5010, immediately quarantined, and took samples for testing in Binh Duong. Test result for the third time on 5/1 days positive for nCoV, patient treated at Binh Duong General Hospital.

Previously, on this flight, 8 nCoV-positive cases were recorded.

Today 14 people were announced cured, bringing the total to 1,353. The death toll from Covid-19 was 35, with four deaths after three to four negative tests. The rest of the patients remained healthy, of which 14 tested negative for nCoV the first time, 6 were negative for the second time and 7 were negative for the third time.

The total number of people in close contact and entry from the epidemic zone is more than 19,000. In which, isolation concentrated in the hospital more than 150; concentrated isolation more than 17,000, the rest are at home or in place of stay.

Vietnam has not recorded a new infection for 35 days in the community. However, the risk of infiltration is always permanent, especially when increasing the number of flights to bring Vietnamese citizens and water experts.
