Tesla knocks into Israel’s market, begins construction of country’s first ‘supercharger’

Elon Musk’s company Tesla is moving towards Israel. For the first time, it has started the construction of ‘Supercharger’ in the Middle-Eastern country. According to the news, the new supercharger will be installed in Tel Aviv. The company entered the Israeli market in February.

Tesla knocked in Israel’s market

Tesla has gone a step ahead and plans to install more charging stations in the next quarter. The construction of the country’s first supercharger is expected to be completed in the first quarter of this year.

Supercharger construction work started

The new device will have eight V3 supercharging stalls. In addition to Tel Aviv, the report by Callist Tech claimed that Tesla would install such a charging station in Haifa, Eilat and another city. The report also speculated that a super charging station would appear in the city of Eilat during the second quarter of 2021.

However, Tesla has not yet revealed the specifics of the charging station to be installed in the country. However, a glimpse of Tel Aviv’s charging station can be seen in the photo shared on Instagram. In the picture, eight charging ports are seen engaged at the station. It is expected from the view that it will start in the coming few weeks.

Israel is a relatively new market for Tesla. Earlier this year, Tesla announced to set up a manufacturing unit in Bengaluru, India. The Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yedurappa had welcomed the American electric car manufacturer and wished the future efforts of Alan Mask.
