Tanzania’s President John Magufuli has died at the age of 61. Magufuli was elected as a Member of Parliament in 1995. Vice President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu has confirmed this. It is feared that John Mogufuli was infected with Kovid-19. However, it has not been confirmed yet.

President John Magufuli had not been seen in a public function since February 27, after which a period of speculation about his illness was continuing.

Got ‘bulldozer’ name
John Magufuli became quite popular when he was reappointed as Transport Minister in Tanzania in 2010. Because of his fight against corruption, people were also known as ‘bulldozers’. The name ‘Bulldozer’ of John Magufuli also became very popular. John Magufuli was appointed as the President for the first time in 2015, after which he was re-elected in 2020.
