Taliban forcibly picking up girls from door to door in Afghanistan, report claims


Afghanistan Situations: In Afghanistan, where on the one hand the situation is getting worse and its new areas are constantly being captured by the Taliban, on the other hand, now women and girls are not safe there at all. Girls above the age of 12 are being picked up from their homes. The Sun report claimed that Taliban men were forcibly picking up girls from door to door to make them ‘sex slaves’ for their fighters.

The report quoted sources as saying that local leaders in Afghanistan were asked last month to give a list of girls and women between the ages of 12 and 45. After that Taliban leaders are kidnapping women and forcibly marrying them.

According to Bloomberg, this incident is telling the dreadful situation that started there after the implementation of Sharia law. Women cannot come out of their homes without taking men along with them. Along with this, they have been asked to compulsorily wear hijab.

While most schools and businesses have been destroyed, women will be allowed to attend school only if there is a female teacher to teach. The Taliban have threatened that if anyone is found violating these rules, they will be treated in a very dangerous manner. As a result, frightened women in war-torn Afghanistan are now trying to flee. There the situation has become such that the father of the girls is scared that his daughter should not be forced to be a sex slave by lifting the Taliban.

Taliban captured many areas

Significantly, the Taliban is continuously occupying new areas there. Between the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, the Taliban has captured more than 60 percent of the area. Simultaneously, the capital of many provinces has been taken under its control. Now the Taliban are targeting several important cities there, including the provincial capital Herat in the west and Lashkar Gah in the south.
