Omicron Variant In Britain: The Omicron variant of the corona virus is slowly spreading its feet all over the world. It has also knocked in India. There have been four cases of this variant here. This variant has created fear in England as well. Although there are still more than 99 percent of the cases of corona virus infection associated with the ‘delta’ variant, while 75 more cases of ‘Omicron’ have been reported, taking the total number of cases related to this form to 104.

With the arrival of 16 more cases in Scotland, the number of cases related to the new variant has increased to 29. A case has come to light in Wales. In this way, the total number of cases related to Omicron variants in the UK is 134.

Britain’s Health Protection Agency (UKHSA) said on Friday, “Delta remains the dominant form in England, accounting for more than 99 percent of all cases of Kovid-19. As of 30 November 2021, there were 22 confirmed cases of Omicron (b.1.1.529) in England identified through sequencing or genotyping. In none of these cases, there has been any talk of hospitalization of patients or death of any person.

The UKHSA noted in its weekly risk assessment that a small number of people are now suspected of being infected with ‘Omicron’ as not all reported cases are related to travel.
