The Ministry of the Economy announced, Thursday, January 14, new aid measures for companies in economic difficulty because of the health crisis. Sports halls with a turnover exceeding one million euros will be able to benefit from an envelope to pay their fixed costs of up to three million euros over six months. “Since the closure at the end of September, we have lost more than 15 million euros in turnover, we have received 200,000 euros in aid, really this is not enough, so this is a relief“, explains Marie-Anne Teissier, co-founder of Neoness Live.
These aids go especially be used to pay the rent of the 27 theaters of the chain, which represents more than one million euros per month of rent. The large majority of the group’s 450 employees are on short-time work, but around sixty people, logisticians, IT specialists or sports teachers, continue to work. A charge that represents 350,000 euros per month. A sum to which must be added loans and ancillary costs such as electricity, with very few resources.
