Situation critical in Sri Lanka, Indian officials injured in attack in Colombo

Sri Lanka Crisis: A senior official of the Government of India posted in Sri Lanka has been injured in an attack. He has suffered serious injuries. In another tweet, the High Commission said its officials met “Indian National and Indian Visa Center Director Vivek Verma, who was seriously injured last night in an unprovoked attack near Colombo” in the morning. The High Commission said that the matter has been brought to the notice of the Sri Lankan authorities.
