Samosa was being made in the toilet for 30 years, the officials sealed the restaurant


Saudi Arabian authorities recently closed a restaurant in Jeddah city. Officials say they came to know that it has been preparing samosas and other snacks in the toilet for 30 years. Gulf News, quoting local media, reported that Jeddah Municipality raided a restaurant in a residential building after receiving information about food items. According to the report, the restaurant used to prepare breakfast and food in the washroom. In addition, Jeddah Municipality officials noticed that the restaurant used meat and cheese that was from two years ago. 

Saudi authorities conducted inspection visits to 2,833 restaurants
