According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is testing a foldable 9-inch screen device. But Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone is unlikely to launch before 2025.

Mr. Kuo shared on Twitter that Apple is actively testing a foldable 9-inch OLED screen device. The pixel density of this screen falls between the iPhone and iPad. The test of this device is to evaluate Apple’s folding screen technology.
Kuo believes that Apple’s foldable product development will initially focus on mid-sized devices, followed by devices with larger screens, before expanding to small devices like Iphone.
Previously, Mr. Kuo predicted that Apple would launch a foldable iPhone as early as 2024. However, this famous analyst has revised his prediction. Accordingly, the foldable iPhone will be released in 2025 at the earliest. According to Kuo, Apple’s first folding screen device could be a hybrid iPhone and iPad, or an iPad.
The information Mr. Kuo gave after receiving a report from The Elec Apple is working with LG to develop a foldable OLED display, with an ultra-thin glass coating to protect future iPads and MacBooks.
In February, analyst Ross Young suggested that Apple is developing a MacBook with a 20-inch foldable screen.
