India Warns China and Pakistan: India has strongly objected to the invitation by both countries to involve third parties in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project (CPEC) and has given a stern warning. India’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project is being built on illegally occupied Indian land (PoK). , which cannot be accepted.
Bagchi said that the CPEC project is illegal. “We have seen reports promoting the proposed third party stake in the CPEC project. Any such action shall be deemed to be a direct violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of India by either party.
Arindam Bagchi further said, “India is strongly and consistently opposing the so-called CPEC project which is in the territory of India, which has been illegally occupied by Pakistan. Such activities are inherently illegal, illegitimate and unacceptable and will be treated accordingly by India.”

What is China-Pakistan Economic Corridor
Let us tell you that on Friday, Pakistan and China had called a joint working group meeting on CPEC. In this, Pakistan and China had decided to welcome third countries interested in joining the CPEC project. The CPEC project was started in 2013. The project was started in the name of improving Pakistan’s road, rail and energy infrastructure, which connects China’s Xinjiang province with the Pakistan Gwadar port. This project passes through Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, so India never approved it.
