Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday discussed the situation arising out of the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia with his Netherlands counterpart Mark Rutte. During this, he also shared his concerns on the humanitarian crisis that has arisen in Ukraine due to this. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave this information in a statement.

According to the PMO, Prime Minister Modi apprised Root about the progress of the campaign being carried out to evacuate Indians from the war-torn country. Along with this, he also informed about the supply of necessary relief materials including medicines from India to the affected people there.
During this, Prime Minister Modi recalled the digital conference held in April last year with Prime Minister Root and also invited Root to visit India.
