PM Modi meets Indians before giving environment ‘mantra’ to the world from UK soil

PM Modi in UK: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started his European tour from Britain. PM Narendra Modi, who arrived in Glasgow, Scotland on Sunday, met Indologists and community members on Monday. He also interacted with the people of the community. Sharing the pictures, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi wrote, ‘PM Narendra Modi has met people from the Indian community. He is strengthening people-to-people ties.

Let us inform that from Sunday, 26 Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change has started in Glasgow, which will run till 12 November. After the completion of the G-20 summit, PM Modi reached Glasgow, UK. He is one of the leaders to address this summit. This is a two-day visit (November 1 and 2) of PM Modi. During this, PM Modi will also meet British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and discuss strengthening bilateral ties.

Congress attacked

Congress has attacked before PM Modi’s address at UN COP26 Climate Summit. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh accused the government of misusing the rules related to environment and forests and PM Narendra Modi is making global headlines. Jairam Ramesh wrote in his tweet, ‘PM Narendra Modi can announce that by 2030, India will more than double its renewable energy capacity. The dramatic reduction in cost makes it inevitable. But what he will forget is that his government is diluting the environment and forest laws in India.
