On Sunday, unidentified gunmen opened fire on an Peshawar-Islamabad highway in northwest Pakistan, killing an anti-terrorism court judge, his wife and 2 sons. The incident was carried out when the judge and his family were going to Islamabad from the Swat Valley in northwest Pakistan. police gave this information.
He said that two security guards of the judge were also injured in the shootout. Police said that Judge Aftab Afridi was appointed in Swat district. The incident took place in Chhota Lahore Swami district.
Imran furious over terrorist attack
On the other hand, the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwah Governor Shah Farman, Chief Minister KPK Mahmood Khan and National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser have criticized this dreadful attack on the judge. Imran Khan said that those who mercilessly carried out this incident will not be left out and they will be dealt with lawfully.

Aftabas Afridi, the judge of the anti-terrorism court, who was posted in Swat district, was chased by militants on the Peshawar-Islamabad highway in Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The gunmen opened fire in the judge’s car, after which the judge himself, his wife, his daughter-in-law and both grandchildren died. The gunmen escaped from the spot after this. No terrorist organization has taken responsibility for this incident yet.
