According to the representative of the Department of Information Technology, in 2019, the evaluation results of the IT application level of state agencies will continue to be performed based on 6 main items with 3 body blocks, including ministries, ministerial-level agencies; blocks of government agencies and blocks of provinces and centrally run cities.

The report shows that among the 3 agencies and ministries, the largest increase – 0.13 points, from 0.69 points in 2018 to 0.82 points in 2019. Governmental and provincial agencies, the city increased by 0.05 points and 0.07 points over the previous year.

In performing the tasks assigned by the Prime Minister at the National Digital Transformation Program, the Ministry of Information and Communications has urgently studied and built a set of digital conversion indexes in the middle of October 2020, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Decision 1726. to approve the Scheme to determine a set of digital transformation evaluation indicators of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, Government-attached agencies, and centrally run provinces and cities (DTI).
According to the representative of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the set of digital transformation indicators includes groups of indicators to evaluate the degree of digital transformation at the ministerial, provincial and national levels. In particular, the index of converting the number of ministries and provinces aims to monitor, evaluate and rate in a real, objective and fair way the results of implementing annual digital transformation of ministries and provinces.
The national digital transformation index aims to provide information on the national digital transformation results for reporting to the Government, the Prime Minister and for relevant agencies and organizations as well as to organizations.
