Iran has claimed to have freed two soldiers of its army from the clutches of terrorists by entering inside Pakistan. Iran is the third country after America and India to enter into Pakistan and carry out surgical operation. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) said on Wednesday that they had freed two of their jawans after an intelligence operation in Pakistani territory.
The IRGC said in a statement that the operation was successfully carried out on Tuesday night and both its soldiers were rescued from the clutches of the Jaish-ul-Adal organization. Both these soldiers were kidnapped two and a half years ago. According to the statement, the army successfully carried out the operation and returned to Iran.
On 16 October 2018, the Jaish-ul-Adal organization kidnapped Revolutionary Guards of 12 Iranians from Merwaka and Balochistan province of Sistan city of Pakistan between the border of the two countries. After this, a joint committee was formed on behalf of the military officers of Tehran and Islamabad to liberate them. Of these, five Iranian soldiers were released on 15 November 2018, and the Pakistani army rescued four Iranian soldiers on 21 March 2019.
The Jaish-ul-Adal organization has been declared a terrorist organization by Tehran. This terrorist organization has carried out several attacks on civilian and military bases in Iran. This terrorist organization gets full support from Pakistani army for massacre of innocent people in Balochistan. This organization has waged a war against the Iranian government and says that it is protecting the rights of Baloch Sunni in Iran.
