Nepal changed its attitude towards China, told India the closest

New Delhi: The political crisis in the neighboring country Nepal seems to be at a standstill. Prime Minister KP Oli has made it clear that he will not execute the resignation immediately and will execute the order of the Supreme Court about facing the Parliament. This is an auspicious sign for India because it is important from a diplomatic and strategic point of view that political stability remains there.

China has made a lot of efforts to interfere in Nepal’s internal politics, but it has become clear that instead of Oli, they are not going to sit in China’s lap. He has given a clear message to China, calling India his closest ally.

Although Oli has been considered a pro-China but recently he has changed his attitude towards China, the biggest reason is being told that he is now increasing his proximity to India and the angry cadre of the party and the people there. Want to win trust

It is noteworthy that the Supreme Court of Nepal had ordered on Tuesday that the dissolved House of Representatives of Parliament be restored. On the recommendation of Prime Minister Oli, President Vidya Devi Bhandari dissolved the House of Representatives of Parliament on 20 December last year and announced fresh elections to be held from 30 April to 10 May this year.

China became active as soon as the House of Representatives dissolved, and two days later, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hao Yankee met President Bhandari. This meeting took place in the midst of political crisis and it was a matter of concern for India as well. The meeting, which lasted for about an hour, was also seen as an intervention of China in Nepal’s internal affairs.

Usually diplomatic officers stay away from the internal politics of the country with their postings. But Chinese Ambassador Hao Yankee has also been making headlines earlier due to his meeting with the leaders of Nepal. However, India then termed the Nepali PM’s decision to dissolve Parliament as an “internal matter” of Nepal.

Significantly, in Nepal’s politics, the distance between KP Oli and Kamal Dahal Prachanda has come out more and more in the last few months. There is a battle of supremacy between Oli and Prachanda, in which Prime Minister Oli is getting a fierce fight with Prachanda who has a strong hold on the party.

However, a new map of Nepal was released during Oli’s tenure in which Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani of India were shown. At the same time, China has occupied many kilometers of Nepal land in Humla.
