Myanmar military government imposes curfew, ban on gathering more than five people

new Delhi: There is no sign of lack of protest in Myanmar after the coup. After this, on Monday, the military government imposed curfew in two big cities and banned the gathering of more than five people at one place.

This order has been issued for Yangon and Mandalay in Myanmar. Under this, restrictions related to public have also been imposed. There are possibilities of similar orders for other Kshatras as well. Under the order, more than five people will be banned from gathering and the rally of vehicles has also been banned.

What is the curfew time?

The curfew will be applicable in both cities from 8 am to 4 am. These orders will remain in effect till further notice. It has been said in the order that this decision has been taken in response to the illegal steps of the people who violate the law. Actually, the protest against the coup in Myanmar intensified on Monday and spread to many other parts of the country.

At the same time, police showered water on hundreds of protesters in the capital of Myanmar, who were demanding that the army should hand over power to elected officials. Apart from this, there have been reports of demonstration from the north, southeast and eastern regions of the country.
