Mr. Lam Dinh Thang is the Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications

Former Secretary of District 9 District Party Committee Lam Dinh Thang was appointed Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City.

At 17:30 pm on April 2, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong handed the decision to appoint the Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City to Mr. Lam Dinh Thang.

Mr. Lam Dinh Thang is a member, former Secretary of District 9 District Party Committee for the term 2020 – 2025.

He is currently a member of the National Assembly of Vietnam, term XIV for the 2016-2021 term, part of the delegation of the National Assembly of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Lam Dinh Thang was born on August 30, 1981, in Bac Lieu province. He has Master of Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Party Construction and State Administration, Bachelor of Information Technology, and high level of political theory.

Mr. Thang used to be the Central Vice President of the Student Association of Vietnam, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, and the Chairman of the Student Union City.

Before Mr. Thang, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Vice Chairman Duong Anh Duc concurrently held the position of Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications.
