One “truly crush”. Reading the script of The True Family by Fabien Gorgeart, Mélanie Thierry, who works on instinct, immediately projected herself into the role of Anna, a mother of two young boys responsible for taking under her protective wing a third child within her tribe. “I very quickly became attached to this family, united and fulfilled”, confides the actress, Caesarized in 2010 for The last for the road, by Philippe Godeau. A “connection” particularly perceptible on the screen, where the actress distills a wide range of emotions to give flesh to this character on the razor’s edge.
Because bad news comes to darken the comfortable and soothing setting of the loving Anna: the announcement by the social services of her duty to gradually give up custody of the 6-year-old schoolboy, placed with her husband and her since she was ten -eight months, with a view to returning to his father.
