These enterprises include: Nacencomm Card Technology Joint Stock Company, An Toan Digital Securities Joint Stock Company, Softdreams Trading and Technology Investment Joint Stock Company, FPT Information System Co., Ltd. FastCA Digital Signature and EFY Vietnam Informatics Technology Joint Stock Company.
According to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Information and Communications, these businesses were fined with a total fine of 320 million VND, due to their violations of the law.
These acts include not disclosing, maintaining according to regulations information on authentication and digital certificates, a list of valid, suspended, and revoked digital certificates. These businesses also publish digital certificates issued to subscribers on the database without the subscriber’s confirmation, test services that do not match the content stated in the license.
In addition, 4 enterprises including Softdreams Trading and Technology Investment Joint Stock Company, FPT Information System Co., Ltd., FastCA Digital Signature Joint Stock Company, and EFY Vietnam Informatics Technology Joint Stock Company forced must suspend the development of new subscribers for 1 to 2 months to review production and business activities and correct mistakes.
This is the first time that digital signature businesses have had to pause the development of new subscribers. This represents a very strict handling measure, which has educational, deterrence and prevention measures for businesses.
