He starred in many of the biggest box office hits in history, Jurassic Park by Steven Spielberg and the sequel The lost Worldas well as the science fiction work Iindependence day by Roland Emmerich and his suite. However, Jeff Goldblum managed not to let himself be locked into blockbusters, constantly sharpening his own image and working with masters of direction like Wes Anderson or Robert Altman, for whom he embodied cowboys, mad scientists, editors or Holocaust survivors.
