Jacques Audiard will undoubtedly be part of the Cannes feast at the beginning of July. After a passage through The Legends Office (he completed the series of his friend Éric Rochant), the filmmaker has completed the filming of Olympics, co-written with two directors, Céline Sciamma (Portrait of the girl on fire) and Léa Mysius (Ava). We don’t know much about this new feature film other than that it is inspired by several new graphics by American author Adrian Tomine, that Noémie Merlant is the only known face of the cast and that it is in the 13e district of Paris.
The documentary by Pierre-Henri Gibert, Jacques Audiard, cinema at heart, does not evoke this new work which resembles a turn in a filmography which already has some (with the western The Sisters Brothers especially).
