Israeli PM Naftali Bennett infected with Corona

Naftali Bennett Corona Positive: The deadly corona virus crisis continues in Israel. Today Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has also come under its grip. Naftali Bennett has been infected with Corona at a time when he is to visit India early next month. It is being told that PM Bennett had a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken yesterday.

Bennett to visit India in April

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is visiting India in early April. During this, there can be a discussion between the two countries regarding the Ukraine crisis. Bennett’s visit comes at a time when the two countries are celebrating 30 years of establishment of diplomatic relations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart last met during the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP 26 in Glasgow in November last year. Full diplomatic relations were established between India and Israel on 29 January 1992. And earlier this year a commemorative logo was launched to mark the occasion. The logo depicts the Star of David and the Ashoka Chakra and forms the number 30, which marks the 30th anniversary of the bilateral relationship.

How are the relations between India and Israel?

Relations between India and Israel have deepened under the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Last year, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar visited Israel by several high-level dignitaries including Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane and former Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria. Prior to that PM Modi had visited Israel in 2017, during which ties were upgraded to a strategic partnership. After this, the then Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu visited India in 2018. Defence, agriculture and trade have been the main pillars of relations between the two countries.

Israel strict about Corona!

Let us tell you that despite the decline in Corona cases in Israel, the government has refused to remove the Kovid restrictions. After a consultation meeting with health officials, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Health Minister Nitzen Horowitz decided not to remove the mask mandate, but to review the measure again in April. In addition, the installation of air filter systems in classrooms will be expedited and the government will continue the vaccination campaign to ensure the entire population above the age of 12 years receives the third dose of the COVID jab.
