The entire ICT industry currently has nearly 1 million employees, including 81,000 union members. The workforce as well as Trade Union members have contributed significantly to the development of the Information and Communication Industry over the past time.

According to Mr. Chu Van Binh – Chairman of Vietnam Information and Communication Union, despite the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Vietnam Information and Communication Trade Union has overcome difficulties with many creative, practical and timely forms. the implementation of content, program of activities, emulation movements for good labor, creative labor in the whole industry.
In the past year, the Vietnam Union of Information and Communication has also actively participated in the programs of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to implement social security, protect the legal and legitimate rights and interests of employees. moving.

Sharing at the Conference, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Anh Tuan expressed his thanks to all members of the Vietnam Union of Information and Communications for contributing to a historical development stage of the Information and Communication Industry.
During the past 5 years, the entire ICT industry has successfully completed its tasks. Thanks to that, the Ministry of Information and Communications has basically renewed and built a solid foundation to prepare for a new stage of development in the coming years.
In the coming time, the task of the Ministry of Information and Communications is to lead the national digital transformation program. This is a heavy political task in which union members also have a share of responsibility.
The Vietnam Union of Information and Communications also needs to deeply participate in the trade union institutions that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is preparing to deploy in the coming time under the sponsorship of the Government.

Reminding those who are doing trade union work, Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan asked the Vietnam Information and Communication Trade Union to always stand by the side of the employees, protecting the legal rights of the employees.
“The higher the position of the unionist, the closer to the employee, the more likely it is to become a” magnet “to attract workers. Trade unions must take practical actions to show employees that, when contributing to the union, they receive benefits beyond expectation. ”, Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan said.
The Ministry of Information and Communications is participating in the digital transformation for all ministries, branches and localities. Information and communication trade unions also need to develop a training plan for 81,000 union members to make this the core to spread digital transformation into every corner of social life.
