India has always been supported by any party in the US: External Affairs Ministry

New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs said that India has always received support from both the US parties for strengthening strategic relations and solving global challenges. When asked if India is in touch with the newly formed team of the newly elected President of the United States, Joe Biden, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Anurag Srivastava said this.

“You must have seen the press statement issued after the Prime Minister’s (Narendra Modi) conversation with the newly elected President Biden,” said Srivastava in an online press conference, which said that he would like to further strengthen Indo-US relations Looking forward to working together.

He added, “As you know, there has been support from both the US parties to strengthen strategic partnership with India and to work together to solve global challenges.”

Significantly, PM Modi had congratulated the newly elected President of the United States, Joe Biden and Vice President Kamla Harris for winning their elections, as well as having a phone conversation to further strengthen Indo-US relations.
