Ramalla: India on Tuesday donated the last installment of $ 3 million for the construction of Palestine-India Techno Park. Through this Techno Park, the Palestinian Information Technology entrepreneurs will be able to contact the local, regional and global markets.
It can be inaugurated in February-March next year
In 2016, India promised to donate 12 million dollars for the establishment of a techno park at Ramalla near Bir Jayat University under a bilateral aid project. Officials said that the project is almost in its final stages and may be inaugurated in February or March next year.
India’s representative in Palestine, Sunil Kumar, handed over a check of three million dollars to Dr. Mazdi Al-Khaldi, the President’s diplomatic advisor, at an event held at the project site. On this occasion, Dr. Al-Khaldi thanked India, saying, “This is a gift from India that will benefit the Palestinian industry and it will start in the information technology market at regional and global level.”
