ISIL in Afghanistan is a matter of concern India said : India on Wednesday said the presence and activities of Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) in Afghanistan remains a matter of concern. India also told the reason for this. It says that this terrorist group commits heinous acts of terror to demonstrate its power and influence in the country and abroad.
Chair of 1988 Taliban Saxon Committee and Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations Ambassador T.S. Tirumurti said this in the meeting of the United Nations Security Council to discuss Afghanistan.
He said the Analytical Support and Sanxon Monitoring Team in its 2021 report said that the Taliban maintain links with other foreign terrorist organizations, including al-Qaeda, through the Haqqani network. The relationship between these organizations has remained strong because of the shared ideology and struggle.

Tirumurti said, “The continued presence of ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) and its activities in Afghanistan continue to be a matter of our concern. Terrorist attacks used by this terrorist organization to showcase its power and influence in the country and abroad have become abominable act.”
