Imran Khan’s chair in danger, no-confidence motion moved in Pakistani Parliament

The opposition’s no-confidence motion against Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan was presented in the parliament of Pakistan today. After this, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan adjourned the proceedings of the House till December 31. Now the discussion on the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan will start from March 31 and voting can be done on April 3 or 4.

Significantly, in the meantime, news also came that Imran Khan called the leader of his angry ally PML-Q, Chaudhary Parvez Elahi, to meet him at his house in Banigala. The discussion is hot that Imran may finally offer the post of Chief Minister of Punjab to PML-Q to save his government in the no-confidence motion.

Imran’s own MP can go against
161 MPs of the opposition are currently supporting the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan. But it is a matter of great concern for Imran that according to sources, many MPs of his own party and allies MQM-P and PML-Q can also go against him.

No-confidence motion moved against Punjab Chief Minister
Meanwhile, the opposition on Monday gave a second blow to Imran Khan by presenting a no-confidence motion against Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. The opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) moved a resolution against 52-year-old Buzdar with the signatures of 127 lawmakers. The resolution claimed that Punjab Chief Minister Buzdar has lost the confidence of the House. The resolution said, ‘Bujdar has violated the constitution by not running the affairs of the province of 110 million people according to the constitution. He worked against the spirit of democracy during the last three and a half years.
