The HCM City Center for Disease Control (HCDC) divided quarantine people into four groups, with different times and times of testing.

Group 1: The employees of the ground service company at Tan Son Nhat Airport (VIAGS), the F1 employees are the airport staff, the family members of the airport staff, are isolated for 14 days from the date of quarantine commencement. Doctor Nguyen Tri Dung, Director of HCDC, said the city is isolating 143 staff members of the VIAGS monitoring and loading team, so far the test results are negative. Ho Chi Minh City also tested and monitored the third time all VIAGS employees, all 1,555 cases were negative.

Group 2: F1s that were not in group 1 were quarantined for 14 days from the last exposure to F0. These F1s are tested for the first time upon entry into the quarantine and subsequent times respectively on days 5, 10, 14. These landmarks are counted from the day of last exposure to F0.

Group 3: Persons returning to Ho Chi Minh City from the epidemic zone will undergo quarantine for 14 full days from the date of leaving the epidemic area or the last exposure to risk factors. People were tested for the first time when they entered the quarantine and followed on 5, 10, and 14 respectively.

Specifically, Ho Chi Minh City concentrated isolated people who used to come to Yen My and Khoai Chau districts, Hung Yen province, from February 10 up to now; All Hai Duong people came to the city from February 3. For people from Quang Ninh, the isolated city concentrates people in Group 1, zone 6, Hong Ha ward, Ha Long city and the communes of Thuy An, An Sinh, Binh Duong, Nguyen Hue, belonging to Dong Trieu town, to the city. street from February 3.

Group 4: Entrants will be tested at least twice during the 14-day quarantine.

Up to now, the city has found many positive cases when quarantined after entry, thus avoiding the risk of infection in the community.

On February 20, Ho Chi Minh City received 151,435 medical reports from people coming from other localities, of which 217 people had to be centrally isolated.

HCM City Department of Health requires people from other provinces and cities to return to the city in the past 14 days to make a medical report to control Covid-19. Those who used to come to Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province, from January 15 to February 2, must self-monitor their health, test Covid-19 with individuals and family members when making medical reports.

During this outbreak, Ho Chi Minh City recorded 36 cases, including 35 cases involving Tan Son Nhat airport, one case involving Hai Duong. Currently, the city “controls the chain of infections” in Tan Son Nhat, has not recorded new cases in the community for 9 days.
