These are the cases discovered by taking samples to monitor all employees working at the airport from January 30 to present. HCDC believes that this is a complicated outbreak because the source of infection has not been determined as well as the time of initiation. The health sector is investigating and determining the source of transmission.
To ensure the safety of passengers passing through Tan Son Nhat airport, all staff in contact with passengers are tested 24 hours before shift, with negative nCoV results, can work.
VIASG employees, even if they do not contact passengers, will still get screening samples one day in advance on the shift. Separate groups of loading and unloading workers are tested daily. Currently, 1,561 households of VIAGS employees are also being asked for screening.
On the afternoon of February 10, HCDC announced that it had traced and took samples of 2,344 F1, F2 of community cases, the test result was 2,279 negative, 65 waited for the results.
