Hanoi recorded 59 suspected Covid-19 cases, Quang Tri blocked 2 medical facilities


Hanoi Department of Health recorded 59 cases in the past 24 hours. Dong Ha City Health Center and Ward 1, Quang Tri Health Station, were blocked from 12 noon on August 27 due to suspected cases; Thua Thien Hue added 70 cases.

These cases have not been announced by the Ministry of Health and are considered as suspected cases.

At Hanoi, 21 positive cases of nCoV were recorded from 12:00 to 18:00 on August 27, of which 16 were in the community and 5 were in the isolation area. Of these 21 people, 19 belong to the community cluster of cough and fever and related people, 2 people are related to the cluster in Ho Chi Minh City.

The new cases live in 4 districts, including: Thanh Xuan, Hoang Mai, Hoai Duc, Ha Dong.

This afternoon, Hanoi recorded 32 positive cases of nCoV, including 18 people recorded in the community and 14 people in the isolation area. Of these 32 people, 25 belong to the community cluster of cough and fever and related people, 7 people belong to the cluster related to Ho Chi Minh City.

The infected cases live in 9 districts, including: Hoang Mai, Thanh Tri, Thanh Xuan, Dong Anh, Hoan Kiem, Thach That, Nam Tu Liem, Long Bien, Me Linh.

This morning, Hanoi recorded 6 positive cases of nCoV, including two people from the F1 cluster of community fever cases, all related to the outbreak in Thanh Xuan Trung ward, Thanh Xuan district. The remaining 4 people are related to Ho Chi Minh City, living in two districts, Hoang Mai and Thuong Tin.

Thus, the total number of cases in Hanoi in the past 24 hours, from 6pm on August 26 to 6pm on August 27 was 59 cases. The total number of cases in Hanoi during the fourth outbreak, from April 27 to now is 2,895 cases, of which the number of cases recorded in the community is 1,518 cases, the number of cases is people who have been isolated 1,377 cases.

Vice Chairman of Quang Tri People’s Committee Hoang Nam signed the decision to blockade the above 2 medical facilities, along with 2 residential areas on Nguyen Trai Street (ward 4, Dong Ha city), which are the workplaces and residences of the suspected case.

From 7:00 am on August 28, the province will stop selling on the spot for eateries, restaurants, cafes, and refreshments, only allowing take-out. Stop meetings and events with more than 20 people, and do not gather more than 10 people outside of work or school.

On the evening of August 26, Quang Tri discovered that an employee working at the Dong Ha City Medical Center was positive for nCoV. This person is the caretaker of the center, had 2 vaccinations, had a cough and fever, and was tested positive, said Do Van Hung, director of the Department of Health. The health sector has localized more than 40 F1 of this suspected case.

Up to now, Quang Tri has recorded 100 cases, with more than 1,400 F1, 2,400 F2.

CDC Thua Thien Hue detected 70 new infections, including 5 community-related cases who completed concentrated isolation. The total number of local infections from April 28 to now has increased to 542.

5 community cases are male, aged 8 to 37, of which 3 are in Phu Vang district, one is in Hue city, health monitoring at home from August 16 after completing concentrated isolation.

Facing the situation of many positive cases after completing concentrated isolation and returning to their localities, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Thua Thien Hue requested to take samples for testing to screen those who have expired the concentrated isolation period and family representative sample.

Thua Thien Hue is isolating at medical facilities, concentrated isolation areas and accommodation for 5,267 people, medical supervision at home 13,987 people who have completed concentrated isolation.

From 6pm on August 26 to this morning, Nghe An Center for Disease Control 24 cases were recorded, mainly in Vinh City, Yen Thanh and Dien Chau districts. Of these, 5 are in the blockade area, 19 have been isolated in advance.

Thus, from June 13 to now, Nghe An has 1,184 confirmed and suspected cases of Covid-19. In which, Vinh City has 361 cases, Quynh Luu district 143 cases.
