Handing over 200 clusters of new generation loudspeakers to Tay Ninh province


This is a new generation of broadcasting solution to convert the number of grassroots broadcasting in communes, especially in border areas in Tay Ninh province.

At the meeting with Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee in July 2020, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, on behalf of units in the Ministry, presented 200 sets of loudspeakers for IT-telecommunications application to the province.

Broadcasting using information technology – telecommunications is a new technology solution deployed to convert the number of grassroots radio stations. A new generation of digital radio systems will gradually be introduced to replace the previous wired and wireless radio systems.

Compared with the previous method of broadcasting, the new generation radio system uses digital technology and is connected via the Internet, with no limit on the distance of audio signal transmission. This system also fixes errors that often occur with FM relay systems such as interference, unstable waves due to weather.

The radio system operator can apply digital technology to radio program production, storage and management, remote program moderation, and automatic broadcast schedule management. The putting into operation of this system will help solve the problem of the lack of human resources for managing and operating the local radio station.

Although deployed in a very short time, with the efforts of the construction unit, the project to install 200 new generation loudspeaker clusters in Tay Ninh province was completed in September 2020.

In parallel with the installation and installation, the construction unit, MobiFone operator, also organizes training sessions, training courses and instructions on the use of smart radio equipment.

Up to now, 200 smart loudspeaker clusters have been installed in 8 districts and 19 communes of Tay Ninh province, of which 13 are in the border area.

Smart speaker system has met the expectations of the people

Sharing at the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee expressed his joy when receiving the gift of 200 smart loudspeaker clusters awarded by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

“The network of loudspeaker clusters has been installed in 19 communes in the whole province in just 9 days. More than 200 loudspeakers that have just been handed over will help promptly transmit information to people in Tay Ninh province. ”, Said Mr. Ngoc.

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh province said that up to the present time, there have been many positive feedbacks from people in places where new loudspeakers are installed. This shows that the introduction of 200 new generation loudspeaker clusters into use has properly reflected the feelings, aspirations and practical needs of the people. Tay Ninh province will gradually replace old loudspeaker clusters with smart speaker clusters in the near future.

Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Ngoc thanked the valuable affection and support that the Ministry of Information and Communications and its businesses for Tay Ninh province. At the same time, Mr. Ngoc also said he would direct local authorities to fully receive and plan to manage, use and operate the loudspeaker clusters awarded by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Ministry of TT & T will gradually deploy the new generation radio system

According to Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Anh Tuan, the radio system just handed over to Tay Ninh province is 200 new generation loudspeaker clusters, operating in a new style. This broadcasting system will help improve the quality of communal broadcasting, simplify the management and operation.

Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan hopes that the above gift will be effective and hope that the grassroots radio team in Tay Ninh will grasp the technology and management methods to operate the new generation broadcasting system well.

According to a survey and evaluation by the Ministry of Information and Communications, grassroots radio is still the most effective information system today. Therefore, the Ministry of Information and Communications will pay special attention to grassroots radio in the coming time.

The Ministry of Information and Communications is planning to gradually replace the wired loudspeaker system and wireless loudspeaker system to gradually switch to a loudspeaker system using new technology. Accordingly, the Ministry of Information and Communications strives for the end of 2025, 100% of communes have radio stations, with over 50% being radio of the new generation.
