Guidelines issued for Covid-19 vaccination in America, decision taken after allergic reaction

Do not give the second dose of vaccine to people with severe allergies

The CDC said that people who have a severe allergic reaction by any ingredient in the Kovid-19 vaccine should avoid the vaccine. People suffering from severe allergies due to the vaccine must consult their doctors. The CDC also said that people with food, pets, latex or environmental conditions, as well as those with a family history of severe allergic reactions to the drug, can still be vaccinated.

Five allergic reactions are being investigated

Significantly, the US Food and Drug Administration is investigating five allergic reactions that occurred to people in the United States this week after Pfizer Inc. and BioNtech SE’s Kovid-19 vaccine.
