According to doctors, genital warts in men is a disease capable of spreading rapidly, in both men and women, especially for those with the habit of unprotected sex. The disease has a long incubation period so the patient is very difficult to recognize in the first time. The common symptoms are pale red or pink papilla-like papules in locations such as scrotum, penis, tongue, mouth, eyelids … or feel itchy, burning pain, discomfort.

In the first stage, the pimples are small, scattered, do not cause itching, discomfort. Over time, the virus will invade and thrive into the body, the pimples will become larger and clearer, there may be white pus, when rubbed can break and drain out.

As the disease progresses, the nodules will appear more and form red patches on the skin. Some more severe cases also contain white fluid in the pimple, difficulty in living and having sex, even cause ulcers, infection if the pimples break, causing cancer of the penis. anal cancer or cervical cancer in women …

The best prevention of genital warts is monogamous, monogamous sex. Avoid having sex with people you do not know well about your health status. Always use condoms the right way during sex. Clean personal hygiene, especially the genitals before and after sex. Periodic health examination for early detection of disease. For oral sex, protect by using a male or female condom.
