SEEN FROM ELSEWHERE – The new film, “Wonder Woman 1984”, will be available on streaming platforms from February 12th. The actress talks about her role as a gentle warrior.

Diana Prince crosses the hall and around her, men’s gazes linger on her person. Wonder Woman kicks in at a mall and captures the big bad guys: she lifts one up by the leg and winks at a petite African American. In 2017, it already seems to go back an eternity, the blockbuster on the superheroine had collected $ 822 million, thus breaking the glass ceiling that separated women filmmakers from major productions: all the credit goes to director Patty Jenkins, but also to the charisma of Gal Gadot.

With this new opus, Wonder Woman 1984, we quickly become aware through social networks of the phenomenon generated in recent years: thousands of little girls have shown themselves wearing the bracelets of submission and the golden lasso of truth. WW-1984 takes place in the 1980s and the villain is American turbocapitalism, embodied by Pedro Pascal.
