Pervez Musharraf Health Updates: Former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf has been hospitalized for three weeks. His condition is critical. Musharraf was the President from 2001 to 2008. Regarding the health of the former army chief, his family said, “He is not on ventilator. He has been hospitalized for the past 3 weeks due to a complication of his disease (Amyloidosis). We are going through a difficult stage from where recovery is not possible. Many organs have stopped working. pray for them.”

Musharraf’s close aide and former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry told that Musharraf is admitted to a hospital in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Musharraf declared a fugitive

Former military dictator General Pervez Musharraf ruled Pakistan from 1999 to 2008. Fawad Chaudhry, who was the information minister in the Imran Khan government, was Musharraf’s spokesperson at one time. Chowdhury said he had spoken to Musharraf’s son, who confirmed that the former president was ill.

Musharraf has been declared a fugitive in the murder of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and the killing of a cleric of the Lal Masjid. The former military ruler went to Dubai in March 2016 for treatment and has not returned since then.
