Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said – Afghanistan’s proposal as UNSC President is important

Afghanistan Crisis: Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that as UNSC President for August, we adopted 4 resolutions but the resolution on Afghanistan was very important. It called for an inclusively negotiated political settlement, calling for the Taliban to facilitate the evacuation of those who want to leave Afghanistan. In this resolution it was said that the soil of Afghanistan should not be used against any country.

The foreign secretary said, “I do not think that members of the international community are passive on the situation in Afghanistan. We (India) are not on the land, there is no property there. It’s not that we are not doing anything, we are in touch with every country that is interested in Afghanistan.”

Earlier, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla addressed the members of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) on Friday.
